I didn’t say at all that that’s what’s insane, but the Texas government’s relentless adherence to rules of procedure has made it where much of the worst legislation proposed by Republicans has been defeated or significantly delayed through points of order and delay tactics by Democrats

Well said. I’m also a native Texan and have little pride in the state in general, but we have some undeniably good food.
You can never go wrong with Texas BBQ, but that is also true of other states.
Maybe in general, but Eastern-Carolina style is the superlative barbecue form.
