btw, they don’t successfully block all VPN users; using mullvad you can just reconnect until you’re on a VPN server that isn’t blocked (in case you still want to access Reddit with a VPN); it seems like they only block certain VPNs, and probably those servers are only getting blocked after users try to hide abuse or bot traffic behind the VPN and they get that server blocked that way
Thanks. I assumed they didn’t block all of my servers (there are a lot) but didn’t want to visit reddit bad enough to hop all over the globe looking for an unblocked server.
You made me curious so I attempted to visit /r/conservative and they block VPN users now. I guess I dodged a bullet.
For conservatives they seem quite tech savvy to be able to filter out VPN users.
No, Reddit blocks VPN users now. At least they have my provider’s servers on a block list.

fair enough; I tend to just click “reconnect” a few times, it usually only takes a couple tries
but good point about not visiting reddit, lol
