To be fair, an assassination attempt like this hasn’t happened within the lifetime of many Lemmyists. Trump has a scandal every other week.

If I ever heard about that, I don’t remember it. It really seems so mild in comparison to everything else.

Also, he didn’t shoot at Trump, so it is different.

But it’s true there hasn’t been another credible attempt on a US president like this since Reagan.
