The worst offenders of this are the 2-position chairs. My dorms had them and it’s been over a decade but I remember the absolute fear the first time I sat in one like it was yesterday. And I remember all those late study nights I thought I was on the forward setting and went to lean back only to fall all the way

I’ve never heard of such a chair. They don’t look particularly comfortable, at least the one without padding.
One of the few reasons I will stop a class is if someone is precariously leaning back in a chair. An image of them falling and cracking their skull open on my classroom floor floods my brain, and I cannot keep teaching.
Literally doing this at work right now. Funny to see this on my feed as I’m actively shaking hands with danger.
I always leave the backing of my computer chair unlocked and this is how literally anyone else who sits in my chair feels
