Maybe I’m just too literal, but I have no idea what to make of the “no one:” part of these memes. Every time I see it, I feel like the joke works just as well without it.
Yup, it’s completely pointless. It’s supposed to mean that no one was asking for or about something, but then the correct way to put it would be “Everyone:” If no one is saying nothing, then everyone is saying something.

Alright, I’m officially filing a motion with the greater Internet court to replace “no one:” with “nobody asked, but…”
That would work, but even better would be not having anything there at all. It never changes anything.
Part of those kinds of jokes are the ridiculousness aspect, it’s just another way to make it more ridiculous imo. Kinda like OKBR humor basically.

I remember some early iterations makes sense but 99% of them don’t and are extremely unnecessary, even detrimental to the meme.
