I drove a jeep for 10 years. Terrible commuting/travel vehicle. The entire vehicle is a wind break as illustrated. You go above 70 and it’s as loud as a jet inside. Very stiff clutch that made switching gears in traffic unbearable. Only good thing was the indestructible i6 engine but they got rid of that in 07. Still had use in socal with the soft top but I don’t know why they would be popular in colder, less mountainous places.

So this is why Jeep drivers trade knowing looks when spotting each other in the wild. It’s shared misery.

That near vehicle windshield is a bug holocaust. Had to clean it constantly.
