      How would paying more cause it to be popular?

      I can get you Lemmy+ if you want! It has the exact same experience, but you get to pay me 10€ a month for the privilege.

          No, but if you separately pay me $15/month, I’ll post in a different community every day about how you’re paying them €10/month.

        Except it’s not Lemmy+. It’s just what the standard experience is, and most people seem to tolerate it.
