Dick York actually had some very serious health issues and that is the reason he was replaced

  I looked up his wiki. Now I feel bad saying he was sketchy. Maybe he was always just jittery from all the smoking. 3 packs a day, apparently.
  
  And chronic pain from a serious back injury.
  
  He founded a charity for the homeless.
  
  Sounds like a decent person.
