The other day at our city park, a dude came along in his truck, with a trailer and a 4 wheeler on the trailer. He just wanted to enjoy a ride around in the good weather.
Not much of a big deal really, but they don’t like people parking or driving on the grass, and they definitely don’t like people driving a motor vehicle on the walking/jogging track…
Welp, someone called the cops on him, and they sent 3 police cars out for him. Within about a half hour of the cops talking with him, he was arrested, and they sent not one but two tow trucks, one for his truck and the other for his trailer and 4 wheeler.
Apparently, going by the inmate search I did later, he was stubborn and didn’t care to obey the cops, and also charged with resisting arrest. The way the inmate report read seemed like the cops tried giving him a warning and an out, like take that shit out of the park, but he was too stubborn to comply. 🤦♂️
So now he’s in jail plus he’s gonna have at least 2 vehicle impound fees, maybe 3 if the impound considers the trailer and the 4 wheeler as 2 separate vehicles.
Fuckin’ dumbass, it should be common sense to like not drive a motor vehicle on a walking track at a public park.
Whatever, not my problem.
I have 2 alarms set on my watch. One for 8am, and another set for 4:20pm
Though the alarms work, they never work as expected. The 8am alarm practically never wakes me up, and when the 4:20pm alarm goes off, I practically never have weed… ☹️
I meant whether it’s a plastic hubcap or a full aluminum rim. Either way I know the posted tire is already on a rim…
For the seam, yeah that’s gotta be a plastic hubcap.
Yeah, tubeless rims are formed in a mold and don’t have seams.
Unless by chance it’s just a plastic hub cap… Maybe… 🤷
Look under the H in CHILE, the rim is already cracked…
Either the door is ajar, or the jar is a door.
Either way, don’t fuck the jar, Randy learned the hard way last week…
Sorry sir, they’re called Cock Blocks…
You have to pay a monthly subscription for blinkers…
That’s the swipe left signal, obviously…

So we opened the valve up to steady flowing water, no longer a water jet, and attached it to the saw to rinse it off while in use. Rubber gloves highly recommended, electricity bites hard yo…

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What's the deal with AI datacenters using water for cooling?
2·5 days agoWhile you’re effectively right in your comparison, you also must understand the difference between electronic data center cooling vs vehicle engine cooling.
Vehicle engines run best at a higher temperature range than electronics, so they install a thermostat, to literally bring the engine temperature up to a suitable range for ideal performance. But the thermostat is not necessary (unless you live near cold polar regions and want heat).
The thermostat can be safely removed from vehicles in more comfortable climates and the vehicle will run just fine, but just quite a bit cooler.
So, take the concept of a closed loop cooling system, remove the thermostat from the equation, and you got a more viable closed loop system more suitable to keep electronics cool.
Guilty as charged, also Bill Nye the Science Guy 👍
