Hey.
I’m Dan. A 36 year old father of two who doesn’t have nearly as much time as he needs to do half the things he wishes he had the time to do.
Yes I’d prefer to stay away from the news side of the industry because I can find that stuff to be exhausting at times.
Ideally LTAG will flourish into a place to talk about what you’re playing, dissect the latest video from your favourite content creator or post some really cool art from an old magazine you’ve just found in the loft.
I’m on my second re-read and whilst I agree it’s a bit frustrating, there’s still so much good stuff to enjoy along the way that I’d recommend sticking with it if you’re enjoying it. You got this!
Our boss told us that it’s gonna be a hot one today. He told us water bottles are not allowed on the warehouse floor. He told us we could go get water from the water machine in their office. He told us not to take the piss.
Yes. The man sitting in the air-conditioned office who goes through 4-5 cups of tea across a 12 hour shift is telling the people who can’t access water not to take the piss. Indeed.
I think for now it’s probably easier and cleaner if we keep it to one image per post. If the community ultimately decides that’s not a good move going forward then I’m happy to reevaluate a little down the line.
Hey, I’m all for spreading the love. The more communities we have across multiple instances the better imo.
I come to work five days a week. I don’t see my kids. I see even less of my partner. I kill myself every single day to hit targets set by people that don’t have to do the job, and I’m pretty good at it. I go home tired, aching and stressed. Everyday. And the one day that I miss the target, the first time in months… they’re on me like a bad rash.
How have we allowed our lives to become this absolute nightmare?
So my body aches like…all the time. I’m 35. It’s going to get better right??
I’ve only seen one or two WSL games on TV but I’m always happy to see more sport content on Lemmy so good luck.
