Thunder has been my main app for a while but Sync just works so well. Also seems to be less battery intensive.

I was on the fence because I didn’t need the subscription features, but instantly bought the ad free IAP for $12.99 as soon as it was added. It still seems a bit steep for an app, but it’s one-time, and supports the Dev (whose Reddit app I used for years) so I didn’t really mind. That and it was $0.40 after using my opinion rewards credits

It’s nearly AUD $35 in my country. Pretty steep, and the full functionality isn’t quite there yet. (Can’t post, limited search etc)

If it goes on sale it’ll be an insta-buy, but the price right now is kinda high.

Yeah one of the biggest things missing, for me, is notifications. I’ve also seen others report astronomical prices outside of the US, way more than I would be willing to spend (especially with this being beta and all) so I completely understand

I’m willing to give a lot of leeway these days for single purchase pricing. Everybody in their freaking brother is going on the subscription model. These people are asking for one year worth of subscription price upfront and lifetime access to an app I am all about it.

The team is looking into optimizations to try and smooth out some of the jank that’s still present in places. Should reduce CPU and battery use as well.
