The TV edit is so weird. In the normal cut of the movie, you see the middle finger, as he says “how about…I give you the finger.” The TV edit has him weirdly say “give you a flipper” instead, while it’s cropped in on his face, so you never actually see his hand.
I think it’s weirdly an improvement on the original. I mean, I sometimes refer to flipping someone off as “giving them the flipper,” to this day. Just because it’s funnier.
