As shitty as people can be, it’s never appropriate to respond to non-damaging inconvenience with vandalism. That’s you stooping even lower than their level.
why is inconveniencing one person (admittedly on a worse level) worse than inconveniencing everyone that uses the sidewalk (so smaller level, but wider scale)?
why do you believe this? Is it just because the law states one is punished worse than the other?
Damaging the car may cost the owner a significant sum to repair. The car blocking the sidewalk is definitely shitty, but mostly amounts to a minor inconvenience.
Maybe just deflate the tires or leave a strongly worded letter on the windshield instead.
If there aren’t penelties to being an ass, why would these people ever stop? Clearly this person hasn’t learned how to park correctly and not fuck other people over, so until they do they should have consequences. Doing nothing just let’s them know they can keep doing this without consequences.

fuck you lol
Hmm, I wonder:

Minor inconvenience? Tell that to old people or people with disabilities.
You’re not just inconveniencing them, you’re literally causing hundreds of dollars in damage.
Damaging their car isn’t helping anyone, except for making yourself feel better, it’s such an immature way to respond.
It’s like punching someone for using racial slurs and derogatory terms. You’re not in the right to punch them.
An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.
