I use GIMP for most of my workflow as a photographer. Have been for over a decade. Not once has GIMP crashed on me. Troubleshoot your hardware!
I was waiting for this comment. No, I won’t troubleshoot magical hardware that only fails in GIMP.
OK. I just want you to know that GIMP isn’t crashing for the majority of its users.
Good news is: It’s open source and actively maintained, so if you create a bug report, the devs can look into it.
