story time. my wife and I were at a zoo once years ago and we were having frozen lemonades. my fingers got sticky and before I could think, I licked the sticky spot. my eyes got huge because I realized it was a terrible mistake. within a few days I was sick as hell. too many germs around all those animals and kids. we still laugh about this because thankfully I had no serious long-term effects. just a week of absolute misery.

also yeah, as another response said, it deforms teeth and possibly palate depending on how chronically it’s done. we have seen this personally.

Absolutely. I use termux + a project called Andronix to install full Debian. After that you’re off to the races. Install NVM, node, git, whatever. I use screen for tabbed terminals. I use one tab to run my node server and another to edit with vim.

Keyboards: as mentioned, Hacker keyboard, Unexpected keyboard, or Codeboard. Or you can attach a Bluetooth keyboard.

Everything just works. If you know vim and have patience, it’s a lot of fun.

at this point, most of us were born into it.

by the time we were born, it was so entrenched nothing but horrible bloodshed could change it.

we’ve been inundated with news and media since early childhood not to rise up for that change and many of us have (until recently) been left comfortable enough that we don’t want to risk what remains.

we’ve been made to believe (by the aforementioned propaganda) that we can vote in real change. some of us still want this to be true. it’s becoming apparent this may not be the case. we’re terrified.
