can we yeet all these individualistic, self-righteous fucks into a volcano already?

I’m so tired of having to convince these unempathetic, short-sighted dregs that caring about your fellow human is actually a good thing, and, y’know, kinda the whole basis to having a functioning civilization

  • those panels are more cost efficient because you can manufacture and then install them with poorer tolerances. the panels being smaller in general also means they cost less in materials to manufacture. and then, as a bonus, they allow the floor to be cleaned/mopped easier.

so, greed and laziness - the American way!

it’s because they’re sold by weight and since all the water is gone, the jerky pieces weigh so little. to then make a 16oz bag, you gotta add a lot of jerky. backtracking to make that happen means you need way more meat, which means way more money to buy that meat.

I agree though that the prices are ridiculous. I just think it helps to know why, too.

holy shit I accidentally pointed at the monitor (touched it) with a 6 inch, thick, stick magnet in the 4th grade. got in trouble for “possibly damaging the computer” or whatever. I think the spot I touched the screen had some residual color change “damage” for some unremembered amount of time. I always felt stupid cuz how could I be so careless to point a magnet at a computer (I knew enough then to know that was a no-no). it’s good to know I didn’t actually fuck anything up (aside: changing memories of the past is time travel)
