Likes and the like should be public, then there’s no tampering and people who like the insane shit can’t hide that fact. Dunno why people are still using that platform regardless.

I dont have a pixel, but if there’s like a “pro” mode in the camera app, you can play around with the shutter speed and expose for longer. After the event the sky looked normal, but I could still get the purple green with my phone camera!
Unless you are in an area with low light pollution, it doesn’t look like it does in photos. You can’t exactly increase the exposure time of your eyeballs :D
You see like purple/orange streaks in the sky, still beautiful, but the cameras exaggerate it.
Oh I am. Blaming the end users still buying buggy shit too.
QA today seems to just be releasing software in whatever state and maybe fixing it later.
Ah yes the 3.5mm port, known for its bulk. Perhaps we should remove cameras as they have actually bulked out phones in recent years.
It’s a very small amount of space. When it was first removed the space was still there just empty. There’s phones that do exist that have SD card slots and headphone jacks. The hardware required is very very cheap, especially at scale, so cost is a non-factor. For such minimal resources, who wouldn’t want the option of more features? There’s plenty of features of smartphones that most people don’t use, it doesn’t mean we should remove them to the detriment of the people who do.
Yes… they sell an adapter.
That’s the only benefit I can think of, the reverse charging on phones (which is very slow). They could add that feature to the usb port though. I mean the dock thing sounds alright I guess, but I just plug my phone in, then it’s charging on desk and in hand and it only needs to be in for like 30 mins and it’s full charged.
Or the port could exist and you just don’t use it, then we don’t need adapters!
The only reason the headphone jack was ever removed is to sell you wireless earbuds.
I never understood wireless charging either, you still can’t move your device around (well if we ignore the fact you can move it around somewhat with a cable). It requires a charging pad too, so it also takes up more space.
That’s not the point is it. Obviously I can hack the shit out it and install stuff to get it close to how I want, but the point is that is what its like default. That’s like saying I can’t complain about web UX because I can just edit the HTML/CSS!
You can’t compare adding extra clicks to do a function that has been available in an OS for decades to a company releasing an entire new product with a new OS.
We don’t want things tucked away, my very non-techy savvy parents call me all the time for help and it’s no wonder because UI just gets less and less intuitive every year, with more things buried into context menus.
It’s literally changing things for the sake of it, to make things subjectively “pretty”, adding as much padding as possible and shiny effects.
Also the case of how its been in Windows for decades, if it was truly better they would have changed it ages ago, but it isnt better, its just UI designers justifying their paychecks.
Haven’t kept up with it, but that certainly wasn’t the case on release and I still don’t think it’s as functional as 10. I have only used it on a family laptop and had trouble simply connecting a printer, it drives you even further away from useful settings than 10 does.
Theme is subjective of course, but I much prefer 10 myself.
Maybe to 12, a lot of people stuck with 7 until 10, because 8 sucked. A lot of people stuck with XP because Vista sucked. A lot of people are sticking with 10 because 11 sucks. In history, Microsoft has had a usable OS every other.
If 12 is shit, perhaps Linux will finally get its day.
