NEVER run a command you don’t know the purpose of. That being said, “sfc” stands for “System File Checker.” It is a utility that can help restore corrupted windows files. sfc /scannow
checks your protected files and restores corrupted files from a local cache. The process can take some time and you MUST let it finish it’s entirely.
In conclusion, this command is generally safe to run.
Start making more Co-op campaigns cause I have 1-3 friends and I don’t want my only options to play to be a sweaty deathmatch or tree cutting sim.
Both ends of a USB cable are generally male (unless you’re talking about an extender). Generally the type B end (in mini, micro, or full configuration) would be the client though I have seen a couple of clients use Mini or Micro A.
I have not. I’m mostly doing webdev on it and it works fine for that. I honestly don’t even need the dedicated GPU. If there’s something you’d like me to run lmk and I’ll see if I can find time for it. I’m running Debian stable on it and it’s the i7-12700H with an RTX A1000 and 32GB 4800MHz RAM version.
I got a Gen 5 - 21DDS70700 from Newegg shortly before the Gen 7 was released. I originally bought a refurbished higher end model from their outlet store but they sent the wrong model so I returned it. It is built and performs well and has a great screen and keyboard.
I’d love an AMD P1 as well. I just bought a P1 after looking at their offerings for a while and while I did look into their AMD offerings they just seemed to have intentionally neutered them.
I saw one of these parked at my mall. As I was audibly saying “Oh, a Cybertruck” I noticed a second one parked a couple of spots down and continued “huh, there’s two of them.” It wasn’t until I’d finished “what a terrible mistake.” that I noticed the owner had paused climbing in to hear my conclusion prior to hanging his poor defeated head and leaving.
Why would robots make robots in child form?
They gave him a protection plan. The price of the item didn’t change.
My work set the password to the facilities manager’s phone extension which could just be looked up in the internal directory.
I see exactly the same thing with a 3080ti on Fedora Gnome.
Lots of flickering, especially in VS Code, cursor freezes or straight up disappears, screen blacks out and I can’t get it back or switch to other TTYs.
I haven’t tested against X11 yet, but I’ll probably get around to it this weekend.
The Microsoft Surface headphones have a spinning dial on one ear that allows you to set the specific amount of ANC you’d like.
They have an app, but it’s only used for firmware updates and changing the action button. You don’t need the app at all ever if you don’t care about those.
The ANC was not as good as my Sony’s, but I can’t change the ANC on the Sony’s without an app.
Well, I try to understand why something is included. I’ve run arch for years (BTW), though my current computers are running Fedora and Debian. I won’t say I know everything about Linux or even installing it or booting it, but I do know more than I would if I just followed step by step.
