  • You seem to know what you’re talking about, I won’t argue, I have also long thought that having food in your system is not necessary for physical activity, for a healthy person. For a good share of my adult life I did not eat until afternoon and often did long distance runs before I had eaten anything, and I felt great, if I did eat I would feel worse than if I did not. It would slow me down.

But the coaches and teachers in the 90s were big on carb loading the night before. They would Advocate oatmeal the morning of the contest.

  • Carbohydrates are long chains of sugars that get broken down in time and released slowly, sugar is just garbage glucose and fructose, the fructose being the garbage, 50/50. High fructose corn syrup. Glucose is used in the body as is and it’s good, that is what hospitals use for IV drips, the fructose on the other hand goes to the liver and gets metabolized into fat which then gets broken down into sugars.

You may recall Sports where the coach told you to eat pasta the night before a match and explained that complex carbohydrates are ideal. It seems like the younger folk we’re not taught this though because you are not the first to see him completely unaware of this.

  • That is a lot of words. Answering the first sentence however, sugar becomes fat, so it’s a nonsensical argument from the get go. Fructose is converted into fat in the liver (yes with other steps,), glucose used as is, 50/50 ratio, 60/40 fructose/glucose on high fructose corn syrup.

As to the editing of the post claim, I believe you made a second post I took for edited at the time so I was wrong, responding to your previous post while looking at the newer one. But I never confirmed that. But I apologize if so.

To accuse fruit of being the same as raw sugar, with fiber, is sugar industry propaganda all the way. You bought their arguments, read their propaganda, and believed it.

To claim sugar is not different from carbs and starch, is similarly incorrect, laughably so. We all know the body breaks it down to sugar to use it, that doesn’t mean it’s the same to ingest.

I am all over the place here, but you are conflating body fat with eating fatty foods, to excuse the outsized role sugar plays in this process. You believed what you were told, and still do. That is what is going on here. Arguing body fat causes diabetes not sugar is like saying bullets kill people not guns.

There are unhealthy fats to be sure, and other sources of obesity, sugar is the biggest by far though…

  • Ink. I learned to fool it to print black and white when a color is out, the colors leak even though I never use them, by putting electrical tape over the clear window on the color cartridges. Brother knows something is up but still prints the black and white with that trick, a firmware update at one point prevented all of their printers from printing black and white if the color was out because they were concerned that you got the best possible service from your machine.

But it just doesn’t print, idk, it takes and hour or two of factory resets and swearing and repeating actions to get it to print. Bought in maybe 2017.
