That should only affect ports below 1024.
Your two bind addresses might be in conflict with each other since [::]:5234
includes binding to the first one.
You want https://tabby.tabbyml.com/ instead of tabby.ml
Haven’t used it myself but you could give https://rustdesk.com/ a try.
Seems like a reasonable size limit for a modern phone camera picture.
“How I get a reliable ssh connection” and “What I do with the SSH connection once I have one” are two entirely different things, autossh does the first, my comment was about the second.
OpenSSH also has a built-in tunnel that is more general (-w Parameter) than just port forwarding.
You should be aware that a large number of mail hosters will block all mail from your server merely because it is sent from a dynamic IP address.

It likely parses the profile pictures with some image parsing libraries, those have frequent security issues.
I would be wary of running outdated apps like that even if their main functionality remains unchanged as they are almost certainly using some vulnerable outdated dependencies.
Really they have had a ton of outages throughout their existence compared to other instances but at some times it was better and at times it was worse.
I can’t really confirm those uptime monitor results, for me it hasn’t worked a single time in the last few days.
Not sure why but feddit.de was broken with themed errors for a day or more and now just shows a white page with Server error for the last 2-3 days. Even status.feddit.de just results in a timeout.
IPv6 binds on wildcard addresses include binding to the IPv4 addresses.
