Why is Google determined to kill one of its cash cows? Cramming AI into search results feels like “New Coke”.
Sounds like “that one place” is put together by the lowest bidder.
This isn’t just true of capitalism. Greed and laziness exists in most economic systems.
What’s really insane is to think that it’s cheaper to manufacture something like this halfway across the world and then put it on a boat spewing god knows what into the atmosphere just to get it here. Something is broken when rinky dink items like this aren’t manufactured on your own continent.
That’s a lovely desktop picture.
Homebridge covers a multitude of mistakes. For every non compatible device, you can usually find a Homebridge plug in that’ll make it work. The only exception I’ve run into is with Chamberlain garage door openers because the company is particularly aggressive about funneling you through their app.
I can see your point. Warning the user once is probably enough.
Isn’t there supposed to be a chocolate bunny in the bottom half of the box where the cut out is?
Are they spamming people with this on computers they know don’t meet system requirements?
They still have to ship the empty packaging. You have to wonder if it’s really worth it to the company to package and ship air. The missing deodorant gel probably costs pennies to manufacture.
It’s almost as if ICANN doesn’t know what the fuck they’re doing anymore!
Is the DMV a .com or a .gov? Because it should be a dot gov — but Texas has stupidly put some of their government websites on dot coms.
Magic Lasso. Ghostery. Both decent ad blockers for iOS.
And if you’re using the built in web browser, there’s reader mode that gets rid of most of this crap.
Is there an active “murals” or “street art” on Lemmy? That’s something I’d like to subscribe to.
Sounds like something that should be illegal, if it isn’t already.
Would be interesting to see a tear down of these to see how safe they are.
E waste is full of precious metals. You’d think someone would figure out how to recover them.
Try the app for your grocery. Chances are there are coupons for sone of this stuff on the app. Try fresh or frozen green beans next time. Canned green beans are awful.
Cutie patootie!
