The rise in CEO wages is actually unbelievably ridiculous:

From 1978 to 2018, CEO compensation grew by 1,007.5% (940.3% under the options-realized measure), far outstripping S&P stock market growth (706.7%) and the wage growth of very high earners (339.2%). In contrast, wages for the typical worker grew by just 11.9%.

Yeah that‘s my point as well. I play games on the lowest difficulty possible because after a day of work I do not want to be grinding during my free time. And even on easy mode it‘s sometimes just too tiresome.

The rule is probably in place so other people don‘t get triggered to contemplate suicide as well.

Yeah it really is terrible. At least put in the effort to find a higher quality version of it.
