Clearly that’s the ideal, but getting that done is next to impossible and many of the surrounding countries that are bank rolling Hamas don’t want to see peace. It’s very difficult to fight a war against terrorism. Afghanistan/later Iraq proved that.
You neglected to include what should be done with the terrorist group that started the conflict by invading and killing a thousand Israeli citizens. It’s like you’ve read one side of the conflicts view point and ignored the rest. So you know how many times two state solutions have been negotiated and why they fell through? It’s really difficult to compromise when some people don’t think Israel should even exist. I don’t expect you to solve it, it’s impossible. There’s hopefully some good news coming out today https://apnews.com/article/palestinians-abbas-israel-hamas-war-resignation-1c13eb3c2ded20cc14397e71b5b1dea5
Are you trying to say competition is good for the consumer?! That’s a wild accusation.
Top 10% starts at $173,000 so it’s a bit misleading.
CNN’s docuseries are actually incredible, but they air on Max anyway.
The truth is more interesting than the headline
Yes that’s completely ridiculous. You’re helping their small business by shopping there in the first place.
I remember getting them before the lights went down, and then the typical coca-cola and popcorn ones. Can’t recall any car ads but I don’t doubt it. I have a nice TV so I don’t go very often.
I was speaking for Americans. Companies like Door Dash are practically experiments in avoiding labor laws .
Is there a rating system for customers?
This. They are predatory to their drivers, their customers, and the restaurants they almost blackmail into using them. Awful awful company.
It’s worse. They aren’t employees. They are independent contractors who in many cases assume all liability and have to pay their own payroll taxes. Most aren’t reporting it to their insurance company, much less thinking about retirement and healthcare. It only really works as a temporary side gig.
Personally I tip 20% or more at most Restaurants. I draw the line at tipping before service as well. They aren’t even pretending anymore that it’s about service.
That said, I don’t use any Gig economy service; I don’t believe in their business models at all, and part of what you are saying is why. Workers shouldn’t be taking on the burden, companies should.
I do tip at some pre-service places that I’m a regular at, but I’ve run into some pretty ridiculous stores asking for tips where nothing warrants it. I try to be fair, but it is getting ridiculous.
Trailers shouldn’t be lumped in with ads for Products imo. Trailers before movies have existed forever. Getting interrupted by an ad for Honda is annoying.
I don’t buy that argument at all. It was entirely about changing the race of the characters and going after white men. Scooby Doo has been rebooted dozens of times and they just exist, they don’t make the originals worse. This new series is not a betrayal to the source material without Scooby anymore than the first time they had a real ghost. I don’t think I finished it, but it is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. The Pilot is, but that’s pretty typical especially with a cast full of non-voice actors recording during Covid. By episode two and three everything is better put together. I found it similar to a lot of current high school shows. Mindy received a ton of hate over it too, and she’s neither the show runner or writer of it. She was running two other shows at the same time so it’s hilarious how many idiots claimed she’s a no talent hack over it.
Name a product Google has that isn’t half assed? They were letting YouTube accounts impersonate account owners in comments at least as recently as last summer.
I’ve had that happen recently too. Last one was clearly lost. It kept cycling in and out of their same warehouse. Happens with IPS and FedEx from time to time too.
