Maybe they’re vegetarian ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t really follow X, Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, etc. so I basically live under a rock. Sometimes I ask dumb questions to try to understand people a little better. Apologies if my questions inadvertently offend anyone. I mean no harm.

Heh yeah, good point. Maybe I’ll just try it for a while
I heard that Proton email addresses have developed a reputation for often belonging to scammers and spammers. Do you know if any of your outgoing email has ended up in anyone’s spam box?

It doesn’t need it, it works totally fine without it.
(Also, FWIW, the toothbrush itself connects via Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi)

Nah it was a while back. IIRC there were multiple sources, but I don’t remember any of them 🙃
Though, I don’t really remember the details either. Maybe it was OS specific? I know there was a dodgy FUSE implementation out there for macOS at some point, and Cryptomator mounts its local drive with FUSE. I use macOS and NixOS, so it coulda been that.
I’ve been trying Peergos lately, and I’m pretty happy with it so far.
Google’s nagging offers for free trials of Gemini made me realize that I was basically handing data over to an AI company 🤦🏻♂️ So I’ve been looking for an alternative too
I started to go down that path, but then I heard that there were problems with data corruption
Yep, that’s the main problem: I live alone, and only drink 1-2 cups a day.
I could try practicing with like soapy water or something (I think I’ve seen that in a YouTube video at some point), but honestly, I’m just not motivated enough for that kind of effort. For me, my coffee looks pretty enough with my “abstract art” 😅
Not professionally, but I got way into learning about coffee during the pandemic. I now have an awesome espresso machine.
I’m horrible at latte art though

I’m just an internet comment though, not a lawyer or whatever

When I was young and dumb, I really tried to ignite gasoline with lit cigarettes, and it seemed impossible. The results would have been the same with water.
I’m sure it’s possible in just the right conditions, but it doesn’t seem easy.
I’m not disagreeing with you (I don’t know enough about the department’s operations), but I can understand why people are unhappy with the ED (Department of Education). It has existed for almost 40 years, and has spent tens (sometimes hundreds) of billions of dollars annually.
The result: Well, most Americans’ reading level, as highlighted in this post. Also, a shocking number of people can’t even name a single country in Africa – a big continent with more than 50 countries to choose from. Also, college borrowers in the US owe ~$1.5 trillion to the ED.
Should the ED be abolished? Honestly, I’m way to ignorant to even make an educated guess. But after so many decades, hundreds of billions of dollars spent, and $trillions of debt owed by students, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to think that something should at least change.
I’ve noticed that, when confronted with longer text, many people just use an LLM to summarize it now.
Ah, so it’s symbolic and artistic. That’s cool, I dig the creativity 🙂
Thanks for the explanation.
Which one? There are many national holidays.
With ADHD and social anxiety, I’m more productive when the office is less social. I definitely got much more productive when I started working from home.
