9·7 months agoYou might think your apps aren’t worth sharing, but I think most tabletop GMs are constantly looking for the perfect set of tools for their purposes and I bet yours would probably be just what some people need! I mostly end up just using Obsidian and keeping notes in markdown files, but I know some people want/use a lot of other tools.
Congrats on bouncing back from such a hard thing with such vim and vigor! I hope your recovery continues to go well.

2·11 months agoSame. I’ve never seen these until now. They sure would’ve been pretty helpful though!
Annoyed by haircuts? Interesting. And the places you like often close? I’m very curious about this because I just go to super cuts or whatever but corporate chain and it’s always super relaxing to me. I get to tell them to do the same thing they always have done (since it’s saved in my profile based on phone number), then just sit, relax and close my eyes for like 15 minutes while someone cuts my hair for me and then leave looking better than when I arrived.
I only get my hair cut like 2 to 3 times a year. Basically when it starts getting in my eyes and becoming a nuisance. I rarely trim my facial hair too. Just once it starts becoming annoying to eat messier foods.

2·1 year agoI am about to switch over to this setup from a Roku myself. I had seen recommendations for Flauncher, but I’m glad to see another launcher recommendation. I will have to try out Project Ivy. Thanks!

I don’t know how YAMS is set up, but I keep my arr stack and my torrent docker setup completely separate, on separate computers. I use the qbittorrent PIA docker image (since my VPN is PIA) on a separate, dedicated mini PC so it only has Internet if it’s connected to the VPN. I just use a static IP for both PCs on my internal network and point the arr stack at the torrent client to handle everything.
Not sure if separating them is the right solution for you, but if all else fails, it might be with a try. I prefer it that way so I can literally just unplug or turn off the torrent box if I need to without disrupting my actual media server.
