I was a SketchUp make guy back in the day and was able to stick with it a long time but it’s so old it isn’t working right for me anymore (Linux).
Plasticity is about the closest thing I have found. I paid about 175 the other day and plan to use this version for the next 10 years.

There’s a lot of good thoughts here, but don’t forget the effect that rationalization as a coping mechanism has on behavior.
For example if restaurants were so expensive growing up that they never got to go, they have the choice of feeling like they are missing out or rationalizing that what they have is better to stop wanting the things they can’t have.
Later when there are affordable restaurants, they still carry that rationalization with them and may not even realize it. They may actually believe it at this point.
Not saying this is the case with your parents, but this kind of thing happens all the time in every culture.
I started on Bazzite when I switched, and it was ok but never felt quite right. After that I switched to Garuda, which is also designed to be a ready right out of the box experience that is gaming and performance focused.
It is based on Arch, so it is currently being kept up to date and has been extremely reliable. Pretty much every issue has been solved with an update and reboot.
As an aside, everyone always pushes KDE, but I personally love xfce, it’s worth a look.
Yeah, the NPC chat feature is an obvious miss on their part. It’s all the other ai in there that’s impressive really. The stuff you didn’t notice enough to complain about.
Have you not seen Where Winds Meet? It’s exactly this. They clearly used AI pretty heavily in translation and filling in all the corners of the world and NPCs.

After Bazzite I switched to Garuda. No regrets. Might be worth a look.
Foundry has so many game systems, even systems like custom system builder, which let you make your own.

Maybe you are right. I can only say I have been using it for a couple of years and haven’t had any trouble.
My first distro was Bazzite, and I switched to Garuda to get away from immutability.
Maybe it’s silly, but it pissed me off to not be able to change my login screen background.
I have never had problems with Nvidia drivers with these distros, and Arch on Garuda has been easy. Honestly, I don’t know what all the fuss is about over these. Maybe I just got lucky with my choices.
Also I use xfce, it just looked straightforward. It has some quirks regarding the application bar, but had otherwise been pretty straightforward.
All your points are valid, but I’m not going to put in 3rd party hardware and their default slicer seems great to me. There’s a group of users for who this is all more or less not an issue.

Not enough plastic is coming out of your nozzle.
It really could be a lot of things… a clog, temperature to low, too much friction against the filament so it is hard to pull through, nozzle is bigger than your slicer settings say.

I didn’t get a Bambu printer because of the price or design, I got it because of its “just works” reputation, which it does.

Even if it works exactly like that, let’s say you are poor and barely make enough to live, you still have to give 20% (as an example) to the government, even if you are fucked after and can’t pay rent or buy food. If you make 20% more than you need, you end up with nothing left after. Rich people may end up paying more, sure, but a flat tax still screws over the poor as a rule unless there is some provision that it only starts after X income, and you know that threshold will always be set too low.
