Indeed. I created a Lemmy account the moment I saw an opportunity to block US-specific communities. But alas, US content makes it onto other, more general communities as well (like politics on the memes community)
So, if I want the full experience (or at least what I assume was the original intended experience), I ought to go with shorts. How does the aspect ratio affect things? Does it have any impact over the content or experience, vertical vs horizontal? I did once watch several episodes or seasons (probably full screen, due to being on a laptop), but honestly forgot where I stopped. Probably due to a lack of memorability for each episode, given the story is usually quite similar (the ongoing war)
Did you watch the “Shorts” or the “Full screen” series (or both)? Which would you recommend?
A thousand for that, you must be mad

First I heard of Stevenson, was probably on the EDM subreddit. Someone posted a video mixing between Go Like (DnB mix) and Like That, under the title “There is no such thing as a perfect transit…” or similar.
Anyways, if you like Stevenson, maybe check… idk, San Holo, Alison Wonderland, Krewella. All electronic musicians normally involved with writing, producing, and performing their songs. Not sure if those are good picks for Fox Stevenson fans, but I like them as well (Holo is in the list above, and Wonderland was my #1 most heard in 2022), and I don’t know whether I’m good at recommending stuff, so… if you do check them out, or already know them, let me know! Nice to have feedback
I can suggest my top 5 most heard artists of 2023:
I reckon the selection is rather diverse. Depending on which you like, if any, I can recommend more stuff like it (or you can check the section for “fans of this also like those” on the artist page on Spotify, assuming you have Spotify).
I wonder what comment could’ve prompted a F1NN name-drop on Lemmy…
Edit: for context, the comment above yours, and the one above it, do not appear to me. Not sure if it is just me…
Edit2: Nevermind. I opened the post, from Jerboa, on the web instead, and the comments show
