Could you share some suggestions for the 1-2 pot recipes with a variation or two to demonstrate? I’ve started stocking up on oatmeal and frozen fruit, then frozen veggies that I season in the air fryer. Outside of that things like hummus, green bean casserole and chili are my go-tos. I’m not exactly a great cook but I’m trying to experiment more slowly replacing other simple shit like pizza rolls, bacon and eggs, etc. Especially if I can do large quantities to freeze and save leftovers
Er. You think everyone’s forced to accept donated blood (I’ll agree there’s probably some that would have preferred not, but everyone?)? Or is this a whoooooosh moment
Like half of Americans are one paycheck away from being homeless. So what point exactly are you making? That you’re morally superior for being better off? Or that we should wait until we have at least two paychecks saved? You have all the answers?
My local library saved my butt last week for a uni class I’m in, and I plan to follow up by buying the book now that I’ve read part of it and like it so much! “Happiness is a Choice You Make” by John Leland if anyone’s curious:) I was skeptical of the title but he’s building an excellent argument for it regarding aging
How could one do such a thing?
I thought the “benefits” to honey were kinda more for kids >1 so they can be exposed to different types of pollen. I dunno if it actually helps with immunity to allergies in the same way, but iirc it’s similar with peanuts. Kids exposed to them young are much less likely to develop allergies to them
I remember reading a few years ago that the US postal service was looking into using it for voting. I haven’t seen anything about it since, but it did peak my interest. I’d love to see it used for research if possible, too, but then I can barely understand these decentralized social media platforms so my opinion isn’t worth much with tech
Those are perfect concepts to bring up in therapy. You deserve it, expatriado
I don’t doubt you believe that, but if it’s true you may be one of those who needs it a bit more. Cheers
Imma be honest, half my communication involves emojis on discord. Jeb with his arms up is part of my personality now and I won’t apologize. When I started seeing someone a few weeks ago I had to explain that he’s missing out on half of my personality by texting. I substitute by jebbing in person but it’s just not the same 😔
(and yes, Jeb has become a verb)
Everyone deserves therapy from time to time, some needing it more than others. Maybe consider not calling people weak for wanting or needing help. It’s normal and human.
Right, so if I don’t serve I don’t get to vote. That’s fucking wild. Let’s look at Israel for how great compulsory service is and a beacon of democracy then shall we
… And who, exactly, gets to decide what is something “positive” enough to warrant having your voice represented? Fucking yikes my dude.
That’s called having a preference, and a pretty normal one. If you do have OCD then I think you should consider not simplifying it to liking things to be clean and new looking, because I imagine if it’s like mine it’s far more complicated and debilitating.
My last apartment complex charged like $20 to pay online vs no extra fee for getting a money order from the post office. No idea why
I encourage you to look at experiments with kids involving altruism. The research suggests much of our fucked up nature is rather learned through the environment. The more we improve our environment, the more we’ll likely see that altruism shine through. Not to say psychopaths don’t exist, but they are extremely rare, and research demonstrates that they can live relatively well without acting on their impulses with proper treatment, too.
My brother pays for a family account, so meh, why not
Are you suggesting coconuts migrate!?
