I am unfortunately aware about how predatory microtransactions are - This is a ragebait thread so the broad (and mostly incorrect) blaming was the intent.

No, every elephant I’ve ever met doesn’t use Lemmy.

They complain about it all the time, but gamers deserve the microtransaction and slop hell the AAA industry has created, as those same gamers pump billions into these soulless corporate behemoths and keep the system rolling.

Red.
Simply say “oh, its a full moon tonight?” Then look at them with your now piercingly red eyes and state “I must leave, immediately.”
Get out of any social situation and you can get your friends to think you’re hiding some big secret. Win win.

You mean ‘ram’ it?

Yeah here’s an example from yesterday:
This is posted to /c/memes@piefed.world and /c/memes@europe.pub, marked by this stacking icon thing.
You can see the comments from both communities if you visit either post in either community.

My aim was to take an existing Mastodon post and basically repost it somewhere else here on Lemmy, but then have the discussion attached.
For example, John Mastodon makes a post about XYZ, then I crosspost it to the Open Source community, and if you open that post you can see the Mastodon comments and such, and commenting here on Lemmy would add to that conversation.

Ok this ‘appears’ to work. Each community is viewable as a group in Mastodon, so you can tag it as you post and this creates a PieFed/Lemmy post onto PieFed’s testing community.

Now to figure out the final step, how to crosslink posts.

Oh most definitely, here’s this post on Mastodon:

Still unsure of how to do the reverse though.

Those were actually versions of you from parallel universes, each saving you in the manner that the prophecies foretold.
Without much velocity/pressure from the barrel, the pellets are only getting propelled from the primer alone. This short would throw the pellets in a wide area but it would likely be Nerf gun ranges.
Its more about the velocity. A barrel is needed to ‘shoot’ a shell. If you took a shotgun shell and hit a hammer onto the primer to set it off, well it would be a mess of pellets, but it wouldn’t fire with lethal velocity.

I’m actually going to be ignorant here but I don’t really know what’s up with the bunny ears and maid dresses. I presumed it was a fetish but I never really looked into it.
I’m no expert but as I understand it, a longer barrel adds more velocity/pressure to a firearm. Cutting a barrel that short would probably put the velocity in the range of ‘kind of sucks’.

NAL but I don’t think this is illegal, though it is a pretty large red flag that you’re going to get lowballed.
There’s a place that sells a 44 ounce iced coffee which is great if you need an action surge and/or second wind without getting a long rest.
Maybe I need another coffee but I’m a little confused.
So this site (named after a previous writing practice workshop that shut down after a series of scandals) is trying to do the same thing but isn’t actually hosting anything and is more or less pointing to a Reddit megathread with like over a dozen other writing practice workshops?
Edit: Is the point of this just to practice writing a novel for self achievement?
I really enjoyed the Sims 2 on the Xbox because it was co-op and I was eager to see how they handled co-op in future games.
Then I found out that they just never did co-op again and I was incredibly disappointed.
I shop at small businesses if its an option. I prefer my money supporting the community than someone’s fourth yacht.
That being said there is a particular type of small business whose customers are largely old retired people. They’re usually open 8-5, have higher than normal prices, and are in no rush as they usually like to chat - Which their customer base likes.
There are other types of course but sometimes you got to do hunting because they likely don’t have big advertising bucks.
Its very very difficult for small businesses to compete with big box stores. They can’t out price Walmart or outship Amazon. So they usually try to find a niche to focus on… Or wither on the vine.
