I am against animal agriculture for the same reason I am against sexism, racism, ableism, classism and homophobia.

The circumstances of a creatures birth does not dictate what it is “meant for”, every one deserves to live happy, healthily and with dignity, but some simply want to live.

  • Every difference in treatment between two people based on gender is sexism

And exclusively focusing on Taylor when there is recent examples of others doing much worse is a great example of this. Such as Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio who all use their private jets in just as wasteful horrendous ways. Much like how all the star wars fans decided Kathleen Kennedy or “Darth Kennedy” was the main reason the new movies were bad, ignoring the directors and writers with more control.

I’m not here to defend Taylor, couldn’t care less about her, not at all a fan and fuck all billionaires. But you have to ignore centuries of history, gender discrimination and patriarchal control to cite sexism like this. There is a rich history of double standards and women being criticized for the exact same thing men do. The overwhelming majority of private jets are used by men in their 50’s, but somehow Taylor Swift is the eternal meme fodder for it?

  • Corporations are not people. They do not have a sense of identity. They do not deserve the same rights as humans. They are not capable of being affected by things like gender dysphoria. A corporation does not have feelings and is only a word we use to describe a collective form of actions made by ACTUAL humans.

You literally can not deadname a company. But Elon should understand the hypocrisy none the less.

  • I actually sort of am the opposite! Growing up my deadname had an unusual spelling. It was literally immposible for someone to spell it correctly on their first attempt. So every form filled out on my behalf had to be corrected, everytime my name was called there would be a double checking moment who I am. It was just a huge giant pain in the ass and even as a kid I knew I would change it, even for non trans reasons. So my chosen name is much more basic, it’s actually one of the most popular names for my birth year.

I can’t tell ya what a sigh of relief I give off when a cashier asks my name and just spells it correctly without giving it thought. that I can say who I am and people just… know that it’s the person on the forum. So y’all are 10,000,000% valid and I love your damn the consequences vibes! But for me? I’m so happy with my basic simple unremarkable name.

It’s always hilarious and frustrating when people who don’t understand a topic try to disprove it. This is the same energy as flat earthers pointing to the horizon and going “See!?!” or anti-vaxxers pointing out people who still get sick.

Anyone who thinks this logic is compelling should actually crack a book. I’d recommend Judith butlers gender trouble, but this sort of meme is peak dunning kruger. Literally too ignorant of a topic to actually argue against it.
