Are you speaking of YouTube? YouTube has a “feature” that will auto-translate titles of videos to your account language (the creator may have to enable this, not sure).
If you google for the issue you’ll find multiple people with the same issue, but afaik there’s not really a proper way to prevent the translation. If you do understand the original language, you can add it to your account languages to stop translation though.

There was a video about it on her channel or smth about it, can’t remember right now. Generally very positive, but doesn’t want to be on camera atm. Doesn’t solve the autocomplete issue when you’re trying to show someone something. I also don’t get ads for things I searched for while in a private window. And don’t forget how useful it is when you’re logging into some of your accounts when it’s not your machine, or logging into two accounts at once.
kWh is a unit of energy. Regardless of whether it is in the form of electricity or from burning fuel. So it is actually very related, and much more useful than a measurement of volume I’d argue. The measurement is of course done in m³, but then a conversion factor based on several factors is used to convert to an actually useful unit.
A m³ of gas really could be anything depending on pressure, temperature and constituents.

Mint with Cinnamon is very Windows like from the UI. You probably won’t need to touch the terminal for running steam games - there’s a GUI for pretty much anything a normal user would need.
I’ve had it happen three times in the last ~1 year each time killing some running process that I kept my pc on for. IIRC it were robocopy backups twice and once during deep sky photography.
I get why they force updates, but resarting is a bit too much for me. Although I understand why they do it, there’s so many people just never shutting their systems down and Windows apparently just needs to reboot a lot for updates.
If you haven’t noticed it on your machines, it probably is because you keep them updated and restart them regularly (or disabled the “feature” somewhere).
To be fair, that equates to just above 3 USD per year if the numbers from the other post are correct.
