It is said by people who truly only peaked in high school and think still saying that is the cool thing to do.

Like if my mom died and someone said that, I’d probably be like “oh so you’re into necrophilia? good to know, champ”

What can’t piss off Islam?

With all of the attempts to dismantle voting booths and artificially mess with the results every freaking election, why even bother voting anymore?

It’s like we tell the naysayers about voting as to why voting at all in America is pointless. But they still cling to some hope that they’re heard. Well guess what? When a candidate can still win by Electoral College despite the popular majority, that alone tells you how little your little voices mean. When an election can be won by stupid points.

I am about tired of K-Pop everything.

I haven’t felt very patriotic or proud of my country in over 25 years, since I began to slowly understand politics and how things worked within my country. I feel that after everything I’ve read, everything I’ve heard about, everything I verified myself by researching and everything everyone has gone through in it with the bads. You can say my control stick has been snapped off and I’m permanently unpatriotic and ashamed to represent my country, knowing the damage that has been done internally as a country and externally everywhere else in the world.

I know it’s not my fault, I just do what I can, I pay my taxes knowing it’s being pissed away, I work jobs I didn’t like doing to feel like I’m contributing despite it not being ultimately worth it because I am helping sustain the motion of this unworthy country. I have voted Sanders, Sanders, Harris in my voting record. And still, the assholes won in the end. But then I feel like, that shit doesn’t matter because our track record as a country has shown that the system is in favor of said assholes if they’re cunning enough to take advantage of them and that’s what we’ve witnessed many times.

All the while knowing that half of the population in this country, is dead set in taking the rest of us down with them in every negative decision made. While still trying to tell us it is our fault.

He got away with more murders on the American people than the 9/11 hijackers, at least 120 fold. All because he mishandled, deliberately, an active pandemic. 350,000 lives lost.

And he disregarded advice and the playbook by people like Obama but he didn’t want that because he believed that Obama was inferior to him.

That happens to me when I decide to change jobs.

It’s pretty sad that some of the best, least acclaimed anyways, storytelling was buried into those shows. While everyone else at the time were trying to find them in big-budgeted movie versions and some of the books that got released that ended up being wiped into the ‘Legends’ category by Disney.

It’s a vicious cycle between rabid fans, the creators of the IPs, the outsiders (i.e corporate entities) that have long infected all of them.

I’m tired of reboots, I’m tired of made-up characters that seemingly are shat out from some kid’s imagination but it’s from an actual adult (like difference in the creative department) who only exist just to one-up the already established character. I’m tired of power-level debates that just melts your brain to numbness when trying to even engage in because they all vary wildly. I’m tired of meaningless arguments as to what origin, what canon or whatever is the real timeline of some character because they always change depending on who the hell is writing them.

It’s all gotten entirely tiresome and convoluted.

That’s sounding like Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It technically is just yet another reboot, but a “soft reboot”. Reboot is a reboot nonetheless.

By the way, you may never know if spanking your kids ends up turning them either into boiling teapots ready to blow or someone who may later be into it a little too much to be a porn star. Never know.

That’s why monopolizing is bad for IPs.

Nothing is more apparent with the child and the toys analogy more than what Disney has been doing with Marvel.

I’ve approached Star Wars like, there are pieces of it I really do enjoy and love. Like lightsabers, they’re fucking awesome. Some of the gadgetry, the tech and stuff is fucking awesome.

Everything else like about the whole Force thing, Sith/Jedi philosophies and everything in between, that’s neither here or there for me.

That’s the same approach I’m having with lots of other big, overinflated pop-culture things. I’m here for the appetizers, but not the entire meal.

And that applies to generally any big company.

Like why bother asking for reviews if you’re Wal-Mart or Target when the shit is still going to somehow sell and customers aren’t usually the brightest when it comes to making purchasing decisions or evaluating what they have bought.
