If all the devices are in the same network you should be able to stream content even without internet. I had to wait for 5 days to my ISP set up my internet on my new address and I watched my jellyfin library in the meantime with no problems.

Cool… Im gonna try that sometime
Oh… It’s not always that I need to sync the subtitles because in most cases bazarr gets the best subtitle but eventually even the SRT with the best score still has it a little off sync…It is good to see if the video is being transcoded too. I hope they implement it back soon… Thanks!
I have the same situation… Only external subtitles load…I have the same guess that is my potato server’s fault. Now I just use external subtitles from bazarr
I don’t know if this would fit your needs but I just have a wireguard server and when I travel I just connect to my VPN from my phone and start my access point …then all the other devices will be connected to my VPN through the phone access point (there is an option to let clients use VPN in access point settings) and watch jellyfin. For me this is the simplest and cheapest option I found.
Are you using a custom ROM? I couldn’t cast anything after installing lineage with microg on my phone. Maybe it’s something related to google services.
Frozen: melting down in Rio de Janeiro
I’ve never been to a lan party…some of my friends used to go to lan houses (I don’t know the English name for it but maybe cybercafes) to play Counter Strike, but not me…my favorite memory while playing games was when I finally realized I was above average on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Me and my friends used to skateboard and we played THPS just to watch the character’s movie after completing all the levels. I was finally good at something, never had been good at videogames, that felt amazing! Completing some levels in one ride and being praised by it, oh the good old days.
Nice! Makes me wanna leave xfce for a while and try KDE. It’s been like 8 years since the last time I tried it.
Does your ISP allow you to get external requests on port 80? Mine doesn’t…And I figured that the hard way trying to access my jellyfin server. Are you behind CGNAT?
Nice NFT collection you got there. If we were back in 2022 you’d definitely sell them for some eth.
Wow people still use conky! Last time I tried using it, Linux was in kernel 2.6.
Of course Tylenol exists in LatAm! At least in Brazil it does…but we buy paracetamol because its cheaper
Great presentation! I didn’t know I could make video calls on xmpp …none the xmpp apps I downloaded have the option to call my wife’s account…is this a server enabled feature?
Beautiful! I remember my Ubuntu 10.10 with compiz fusion… It was gorgeous. Good old days
Hey I finally understand the nuances of meaning of that expression… it’s dangerous, it’s ugly and it smells… Never quite understood the expression before looking at this picture. Thanks

The Wako Siege is a good one about the US too…
“Look at our big adjusted EBITDA! Great quarter guys! Buy our stocks there’s clearly an 20% upside in the next 12 months according to our FCFF model”
