If you want to use it on your phone: OsmAnd app (or Organic Maps)
It’s great, install the Organic Maps or OsmAnd app on your phone. Level of detail of the map is much better than Google in my area.
I only use Google Maps for looking up reviews anymore.

Yeah Synology is pretty good with that kind of stuff (we use one at work). They’ve really just got a Linux system with custom management tools on top. Of course for DIY purposes, self-building is still cheaper and more flexible though.
