Only if the administrator of the instance chooses to delete the content as well.

If they did, it will be the same as deleting the account with “Delete content” option set to true.

The best way is to read the docs, read code and experiment yourself.

I’ll try to answer them, though:

• It’s hosted on instance A and B. Every instance creates a local copy.
• Your account gets deleted. If you want, you also can select to delete your content (images, posts, comments, etc.). But since this is the Fediverse, it is not guaranteed that your account and content is deleted everywhere.
• Iirc they do
• The existence of the instance itself won’t increase load, but the users on it can.
• Your client asks your instance.

Yeah, seems like something to do with your account. I can see the posts with and without my .ml account.

When I check that community in lemmy.ml, I can see them though? Might be something to do with federation delays. You should be able to see the posts now.

That is how federation works. You’re probably the first one to have followed that community. Though if you did subscribe to the community, the first 20 posts should be fetched. What do you mean by “comment mode” btw?

You can’t. You’ll need to use a different UI that supports configuring those depth bars or write a custom CSS for the lemmy UI.

I’d say prefer single quotes for passwords as your password might have some special characters. Single quotes are raw strings, so nothing is escaped.
