This should 100% be illegal.
This should 100% be illegal.
I think that makes a lot of sense though. I think if he only discussed the nuance and complexity that people would assume these differences would be huge, and suddenly their coffee would start emitting rays of holy light or something.
It’s very complex, and it does make a difference, but in the end it is what is considered fine tuning by a lot of people. And once you understand that, then you can let your mind zoom into those details and it will no longer be fine tuning.
Actually, this violates that law.
Having experienced years of people giving me things to drink promising “this is like nothing you’ve tried before”, I was happy for it to ring true for once.
Either way, it’s pretty useful to communicate this to everyone else.
Context?
What community/ instance is that in?

Actually, buying a new electric car is better for the environment than keeping your current car.

Not when the planet and future generations are at stake.
Aside from even that, I rolled down my window this morning on my way to work to enjoy some fresh air and I got a big blast of toxic exhaust fumes. It’s literally poisoning the air around us. IMO people’s right to not breathe toxic fumes is more important than someone else’s right to drive a gas car just because they like it.
We aren’t there yet in terms of cost or electric charger availability, but once we are we should 100% ban gas cars.
I read this article the other day and tried working from my bed but couldn’t do it for more than maybe 15 mins.

What does this mean?
I’ve been adding long pepper to my coffee and it’s amazing. Going to experiment with adding olive oil too.
Ground long pepper. It’s delicious as fuck.
IMO the “stuck in their ways” isn’t about experience at all. It’s about good or bad devs. I’ve seen green devs stuck in their ways.
Sometimes managers or devs who don’t know any better think that knowing the right thing to do is the same as being inflexible, because they don’t understand the rationale since they aren’t experienced programmers.
Watch some James Hoffman videos on YouTube about the basics. Then progress to everything else.
You do realize that you can simultaneously make money on something and acknowledge it’s a piece of shit at the same time, right?
This is not mildly infuriating. This is just plain old infuriating.
That’s not what he said at all.
