I’ve used my soldering iron at 200c to re-attach broken off pieces, to much success.
Edit: it strengthened the layer to layer lines as well. Pretty neat for small bits.

You’re right! I missed the 1, damn. I’ll correct it now

Couldn’t you use a soldering air gun? Actually I don’t know if there are cheap ones that can get a nice low temp, but the nozzle tends to be a fine tip.
199 (had written 99, I was wrong ) for Pikachu, 650 for the starters??! (Still in the ballpark of 10 cents a piece)

I fry other things, and know the oil struggle, but for fries, I’ve been using the air fryer recently with success. (America’s test kitchen recipe works)
It might be best to ask him. A 3d printer, when things go sideways, is like a needy pet.
Nice! I’ve used a lot of other people’s work to make my dice chandelier, and a handful of other stuff, but I’ve mostly been using it to model wood panels for a few cabinets, I made a simple module that takes in panel size and makes the panel, but also prints it on the console, so I can make a cutlist later.
Wow. Here I’m happy with “check out this cylinder I’m using to wedge between things”
(I’ve done a few other weird things, but I’m most proud of my shims that are the right size)
Take off my glasses and squint to look at things
When has that ever stopped us from making new systems and standards?

You can visit the room once, doesn’t say you can’t swap the bulb for a smart bulb and use your phone to figure it out when it enters pairing mode…

Having gone through it, a matrix server is not newbie friendly yet.
(Though I agree that’s a great idea)

Honestly? It was a pain, I used several different guides and they were all out of date in different ways. Unfortunately, it looks like external users are having connectivity problems, that I’ll try to solve next week when I have time.

Display case? Add more wood to the bookshelf and maybe a plexiglass or polycarbonate clear door to keep out dust, some soft led lighting, and show off neat stuff up there.

Why are none of your options more bookshelves?

Now this, this is mildly. Because it’s also awesome.
Merry Christmas, and go pick out the paints for the wall.

My kid is 9, and it’s all Minecraft and I just installed a non federated synapse server so they can text family without having to deal with parental controls. At that age, I figure it’s more about having fun, and if they learn typing skills on the way, big win
i is my address. The bigger problem is that I should have increased i by sizeof(U32)
(This works on bare metal, mostly, not on an os)
Video and voice chat with matrix works well once it’s set up. I… Struggled a bit setting it up, and I don’t think I’m the exception.
Haven’t tried screen sharing yet.
