I taught myself by playing a license plate game, referring to the cars around me by their phonetic license plates “what’re you doing bravo whiskey foxtrot foxtrot? You’re turning right but indicating left!” It makes road rage more fun.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•I was at the Home Depot today and they tried to sell me this crap
3·3 months agoMan, what a legacy this man has. In th Lemmy app I use, the top of the was cut off in the thumbnail and so all I saw were the fittings and I was like man Ea Nasir, you still haven’t improved your supply? And then I opened the image and yep he’s at it again.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•why is the beginning on the left and the end on the right?
2·4 months agoAbsolutely. If you learn about visual hierarchy in design, one of the first things that you learn is that those who have language that read from left to right will instinctively look at the top left, across, and top to bottom, in kind of an “F” pattern.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Lung identification course
59·4 months agoThis guy’s a fraud. Birds don’t have lungs, they have series of air sacs.
edit: my bad, I should take this course. The lungs move the air through the air sacs

Or maybe add some extra trailing 0s… fractions of a cent exist, right?
Hilariously this is actually anti-disability. Many people have mobility issues without needing a wheelchair all the time, and really benefit from having places to sit. Removing a seat removes that option.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How come laptops or pc's don't have a "webcam" facing both ways instead of just the user?
1·5 months agoThanks for sharing, that is a neat design.
I could see Greece being pretty sheltered from niche internet communities. I think furries go against their state religion (which has say in their education and media)
There’s a local Mercato near me that stocks all the different types. I prefer to get them from there anyway because Galen Weston doesn’t need that money.
Look at the size of her face overall on the left, and the size on the right. Now look at where her eyebrows are on the left and where they are on the right. The camera on the left is slightly closer, her makeup is different, and her eyes are open wider. I don’t think it’s a filter.

3·6 months agoI know people are doubting this happened but I’m pretty sure it’s a symptom of paranoid schizophrenia to think that one’s electronics are trying to speak to you.
Doesn’t sound like a good work environment anyway. That sucks, man.
Lady, I have a folder on my phone of the memes you’ve posted to nicememes. I pull one up at random when I need a pick me up. I’ve shared them with others when they resonate with a situation. What I’m saying is- you may be the first person to ever go to heaven because of your memes.
Hmm I couldn’t find idared or red noble on apple rankings, but there is crimson gold. https://applerankings.com/crimson-gold-apple-review/
Don’t leave us hanging like that man. What were the apples?

I’m surprised they let him in front of a camera again after the Chipotle backlash.
