Keep in mind that their America IS being destroyed. They’re happy in an American where they are free to judge and hate people. The rest of us aren’t, it’s being taken back, and they’re putting up a fight for it.

They don’t get that they’ll be just fine when they realize they can stop hating people who have nothing to do with their lives.

There’s likely some deep rooted trauma there which would be beneficial to have some professional guidance to uncover and address through rational eyes. Our brains will create defence mechanisms to protect itself from perceived harm, but the mechanism may not be a healthy one. A professional can help sus out areas of concern for you and give you new tools for dealing with those emotions.

Her unhealthy choices concerning social behavior and eating habits are likely symptoms of a deeper issue.

  • When a major cultural event occurs, symbols and words can be forced into new meanings in that society after having gone through the significant or traumatic event.

The swastika, historically a symbol symbolizing representing well being and prosperity, now cannot be seen without associating it with hatred fascism.

I think it’s relevant for a western country to consider the concept that “Q” can be interpreted in different ways than it was before but a significant number of people, and a large company should have something like that on their radar, especially for a marketing/branding perspective.

FOSS is great at back end, and is tremendously closer to the front end ease of private, polished software than it ever has been.

Some more push for front-end ease with reasonable support communities will push it more into the mainstream. It needs to be as easy as pressing “install” and then using it. For mass adoption, the majority of people don’t care to become technical experts.
