I’ve been playing Planet Crafter waaay too much. Check it out if you like Factorio, Satisfactory, etc. It’s fun and super addictive. At least to me.

I was at Storr and Portree back in November. Love Skye a lot.
I meant faster than Python, not faster than Rust. Rust is fast.
Nevermind that the C++ program is two orders of magnitude faster when completed.
I would love to learn and use Rust but I’m a embedded systems guy. Everything of consequence is C and C++.
Having cut my teeth on MS-DOS 3.0 in a 4.77MHz PC with a monochrome monitor, two floppy drives and no hard disk, it was drilled into me early to save, save, save. It’s just muscle memory for me now.
Writing a whole paper without saving is unimaginable to me.

AKschually, thumbs aren’t fingers.
Yes, I only learned I was born in the last year for boomers a couple of ears ago. I was pretty shocked.
I use this as my reference. .
I was born in October of '64. Tippy tail of the Boomers.
I’m 59 and technically a Boomer so… You know I’m out of the loop.
I do hate the new web based experience though. The executable client is very good.
I’ve played DSP, it’s a great game too. I’ll probably jump back to that when I burn out on Planet Crafter. The thing I don’t like about it and Satisfactory is conveyor belt management. The constant battle to rewire the spaghetti.
