There’s a book called Recipes For Disaster by Crimethinc, which is an actual Anarchist Cookbook, has less bombs and stuff, but there’s a lot of neat stuff that will actually work.

That’s not how our parliament works. The amount of people calling for an end to the speaker’s independence is concerning.
The speaker’s job is to uphold decorum of parliament. This one spectacularly failed to do that, and resigned as he should. That doesn’t mean we should make it a partisan position.
Look up the DeArrow extension. It’ll purge all the shitty thumbnails and clickbait titles.
I really hope it gets integrated in ReVanced or NewPipe.
I believe Linus said they have an external HR contract now. Yvonne was HR when they were much smaller.
I’ve never used TweetDeck but there is the Control Panel for Twitter, which makes it usable. It can auto-block all the bluechecks with under a million followers, hide the “For You” tab, block ads, and restore the old Twitter branding.
Unfortunately the main reason I use Twitter is not the platform itself, but the public figures that are on it. Mastodon (mostly) doesn’t have that, though there is a trickle of some coming over.
Facts. I remember using Netscape and using MSDOS as a kid, and I’m in my early 30s, not quite old enough to have grandchildren lol
Louis has stated many times that shitting on consumers for buying Apple products is not productive.
I did not realise until now that “ginormous” is a portmanteau
No kidding. If you think you’re creeping out women by being “a man in a grocery store” there’s something off about either your behaviour or your perception of the world.
I don’t care of they’re cool with it, I’ll use my computer how I want to. Google makes hundreds of billions in annual revenue, it’s hard to feel bad for them. Calling that theft is a massive stretch, they are not losing anything except for potential profit, you could argue bandwidth but that is so intangible compared to any kind of physical theft.
Keep in mind with adblocking we’re dealing with fractions of a penny per video and Google is still making money off me regardless. I directly support creators I like, sending them $10 is an order of magnitude more money than they would get over a lifetime of me watching ads.
The user should always be in control of the 1s and 0s entering their computer. Allowing some data and not allowing others is not theft. It’s not all-or-nothing for which data Google sends me and recieves from me, that’s absurd.
For real, NextDNS was a game changer. It’s not hard to set up either.
I don’t know if it’s true, but there’s the theory that he realised midway through his sentence that he didn’t want a soundbite of him saying “shame on me”
I think Dubya was smarter than he let on, still a war criminal tho
I would be sold on that so fast. That’s some Jetsons shit. I would use it all the time
That’s not really my point. If people are demanding that everything should be free, they can just make them free and stop whining about it.
I don’t see why people are so against the developer using ads. If you don’t like them, you can remove them yourself with an adblocker, you don’t need the dev to do that. If you consider ads an ethical violation, you shouldn’t see using an adblocker as unethical.
I think this is more of a novelty/proof-of-concept rather than offering any serious use case. It does show a lot of potential for this kind of thing. If the form-factor can be refined into something less stupid looking, there could be more appeal in this tech to the general public than there was in 2013. There seems to be more of a collective shrug towards cameras and microphones in public than there was 10 years ago.
That’s Hasbulla and it’s a real picture. He’s 21, he has a growth hormone deficiency.
