In my circle of friends when I was younger it was Monty Python. I love their stuff especially the movies, but a lot of my “group” didn’t seem to get it.

I figured lol. Mind you this one isn’t all that loud when it runs… mainly just fan noise that drowns out the hum unless the rotating plate starts squeeking and sings the song of its people.

I much prefer that over the old sound… always sounded like a 3 ton truck was backing up in the kitchen when it went off.

The timer display. Although if you listen really closely you can still hear it try to beep, but you have to be standing right next to it in a quiet room.

The beeper on my 41 yr old Microwave died a few years back during a thunderstorm. It was like a dream come true.

Yes as far as I know google deletes what they consider inactive accounts all the time, as well as accounts they think have breached their terms and conditions… Usually though they send several warnings before doing so, but if someone didn’t give them any alternate contact info they may not receive them.

The Pinto wasn’t all that bad… after the first couple years when they moved the fuel tank and made them a little less explody they were kind of fun little cars. Mine only caught fire on me twice.

I knew they did better visually, I meant more that they’re actually worth anything. The only reason I even still have this old thing is because it’s bigger than my recycle bin and I have no urge even attempt to haul it away.

Do they really? (are worth something, I mean) I still have one upstairs in my house. I don’t use it at all, I’ve just been using it to hold the house down in case of windy weather.

(actually I’m just too lazy to try and haul it out of the house and toss it.)

Sometimes you’d go to pick up the phone to call someone but you couldn’t because your neighbor was busy talking, so you’d have to put the receiver down gently in hopes they didn’t hear it and think you were eavesdropping on them.
