Newest versions of windows 11 make it incredibly hard to find the screen that shows all your network adapters. It is now easier to use device manager to disable and reenable an adapter.

How do I know? Because all the shit tier screens and tools that offer to help you with a network issue didn’t work. ONLY reenabling the NIC did.

Had to do it on my whole network

  • Fine line between “chat is a bunch of friends and we have fun together” and “there are so many people I don’t remember anything about anyone”.

It’s a weird dichotomy, I stream for fun and prevent me gaming in the dark, alone; but it also affects my game choice and starts to feel like an obligation because people start to feel at home there.

Analytics and gamification behind the scenes adds some stress too, number to up makes dopamine go brr.

    🤷

  • I’m not showing off, I hate it. Stupid retro style clockwork. To do anything below 3 minutes you have to wind it over 3 minutes and back again. FUCK. And the red sticker that tells you that is unremovable, so the fucking retro style is ruined anyway. Hard to believe it was manufactured in this millennium.

  • The one time I got a prebuilt desktop for myself it was an HP Omen. Terrible decision.

Single unit radiator that struggled to cope with the CPU under any load, custom case so a larger rad AIO won’t fit, buy a new case.

Usb controllers overwhelmed while streaming and gaming so bought a controller card. Nope, there is only one slot on the mobo and that’s for graphics. (Yes, I should have checked first)

Useless bloatware always crashing and popping up over screen. Changes made to windows registry mean sounds fade in if no sound was played for a while (including alerts or memes on stream so you only hear the last part)

    Many regrets.
