Round things with antennas

If a tool were created that properly converted an UML diagram into a project without any need for code, all the programmers that lost their job to this tool would then be hired by the company that offered it, in order to give maintenance and support to everything the customers want in their programs.

It would be removing programmers from they payroll of some companies but they would still be working for them, just further down in the chain.

The same is true for AI. If AI could completely replace programmers in some area, it would need a lot of programmers itself to keep dealing with all the edge cases that would show up from being used everywhere that a programmer was needed before.

There are many communities I would have no interest in participating actively, but that I still like to hear about when something big happens. The all feed kinda gives me that sort of experience.

That sounds awful to experience as a customers, but also sounds like an awesome challenge to pull out convincingly for whoever created it.

They changed their dependencies and now your stack no longer supports the lib until you fix your whole framework to work with the up-to-date stuff.

And there’s a ton of articles here with very misleading titles, specially on technology communities. At some point I noticed three large threads in a row where the article title claimed one thing but even the article itself was about something completely different.

Yeah but comparing a fingerprint to a finger is a simpler test than comparing a fingerprint to another fingerprint and checking if they may be two fingers from the same person.

They do know how it works: it detected a pattern in the difference between fingers and checks that.

Also this would usually not be needed explained to a jury. If they have the suspect in custody they can just check their fingerprints directly.

Tbf as long as it doesn’t go public it will probably be fine regardless of who takes the job. It doesn’t take a genius to keep up the good work in a company that can afford to plan long time.

Last one can be freely changed by anyone, the middle one still has some restraints.

Reality is even worse than the worst thing you can imagine. You know all those games you’ve seen hundreds of ads for and do do a pretty shitty job at making the game itself feel interesting?

Well that game content shown in the ads is actually the best part of those games. The actual game has nothing to do with what’s shown in the ad, but if you keep playing the super boring game, from time to time you get a chance to play a mini game inside of it which is still pretty boring but miles ahead of the rest of the game. Those mini games are what is shown in the ads.

I don’t know how those games afford so many ads. Who is even playing them. I can only imagine some people actually play it just for fear of missing out because the constant ads for those games make the game itself appear popular.

Reminds me of Alundra on the PS1, where at some point the game forced you to accept praying in a church; I tried to reject it but the game wouldn’t let me. It ended up being plot relevant in the end, as
