It reminds me of Fallout.
Mereo is a sociologist who is also a nerd. He believes in open-source software.
I transferred to this instance from https://lemmy.world. My previous profile: https://lemmy.world/u/Mereo
It reminds me of Fallout.
Yup. It is an official proof that the package wasn’t delivered.
To me, instances are like countries. c/Politics@lemmy.ml is not the same as c/Politics@lemmy.world because lemmy.ml culture and policies are different from lemmy.world. In this case, go to c/Politics@lemmy.world.
It’s looks nice. I think you will enjoy KDE, we don’t have to worry about extensions compatibility when upgrading to a new version of Gnome.
I guess it’s a good investment to have peace of mind! /s
It is not. It is a demo. The company demonstrates the game to you. You’re free to play it as long as you want so that you can make an informed decision afterwards.
And this is where pirating comes into play. For example, I bought Fifa 23 but because of the bundled anti-cheat giving me a lot of problems, I downloaded the cracked version.
Good! That means less people drinking sugar!
That’s a very extreme view, my friend. A lot of Youtubers come up with good products. For example, LevelOneTechs has come up with a pretty good KVM that a lot of mainstream companies haven’t been able to perfect. So I enjoy it when Youtubers advertise their merch.
For the life of me, I don’t understand why they rebranded themselves. HBO is such a recognized brand. I was confused at first about what Max was.
The apps page now has sections for Android, iOS, and web apps, as well as libraries. Feel free to do a pull request to add any apps that are missing.
It would be great if the apps page was also filterable (Android, iOS, etc). Because I was initially confused when I saw the page, seeing the Android apps and not realizing the iOS section was further down. And new apps are being developed all the time, so the page will be overwhelming.
Voyager is best in iOS at it was heavily inspired by the ex-App Apollo.
Check your enhanced Tracking protection settings and see if its at strict. Another user had the same problem here: https://lemmy.ml/post/3612554
It works perfectly on my end:
Brother, it is good to know that we’re on the same page.
I’ve nothing by good experience with Brother laser printers.
I don’t think it’s a good idea. Most people are not tech-oriented, which means it will be a huge security risk. And I want my smartphone to be a phone first and foremost. I want it to have a good battery life so that if I need to make an emergency call, I can rely on it.
But I have to say that’s a plus. I’m on Lemmy.ca and beehaw.org is federated with my instance so I can interact with their communities. I have noticed that discussions on technology@beehaw.org are different from those on technology@lemmy.world. I think that’s the beauty of Fediverse.
It’s like being in a technology club in France and then visiting the technology club in Germany. They may look like the same clubs on the surface, but then you realize that these clubs have different interests and the discussions are different because the worldviews of the two clubs are different.
It’s the internet, you never know. In person, by how the person behaves, you know if he’s being sarcastic or not. On the internet, not so much. It’s just text and I’ve seen people who were quite serious.
I hope that was a sarcasm, if so, add /s.
That’s where Windows belongs now, in a VM.
