I have a few backup lights that are dumb led lights on a smart wall switch. But my HA is pretty much never down unless I am manually restarting it for updates. And my Zigbee network works even when the internet or wifi is down.

Bulbs are mains-powered and should be zigbee routers. The way to prevent that is to take out the switch, wire it closed, and stick a smart button over it.
Which of these is better for Aqara? I recently switched from Conbee to Zigbee2mqtt but I don’t have any aqara devices (yet…)
You can use an ESP32 to ring the mechanical bells via HA when someone presses the doorbell
What do you mean that Reolink is not available? You can get them easily and they work great with HA and Frigate.
I have the Reolink doorbell, integrated in both Frigate and Home Assistant. It’s been running for 2 years now. It works great!
Sadly they will probably jack up the price while they are at it too. I just moved everything to my own petsonal .io a few years ago. I don’t want to have to move again.
American? I’m from The Netherlands and I get maybe 1 spam call every other month or so. And I’ve been using the same number for almost 25 years.
ZFS isn’t built-in. I don’t know enough about btrfs to recommend it.
Bog-standard Debian with LVM. LVM can also do RAID, but you could also do mdadm below LVM if you prefer. Keep it simple.
That is really well done. Love it!
Probably that it’s a 130 year old camera model
Bad bot
No, but I’d definitely download one if I could!
I really hope that takes off because that would be awesome. Same with issue tracking.
It’s beautiful but does anyone know if it’s minifig-scale? It looks too big for that.
A beautiful model, but it lacks some minifigs in orange shirts 😉
