The moon, probably
The moon, probably
It’s illegal if the fact that a service fee would be added wasn’t shared before ordering (on the menu / by the waiter /…)
Knife, scissors, stuff like that probably
Worst case, they can keep chugging along without any changes, except maybe stopping the donation “nag”.
It’s honestly kinda perplexing.
Everyone keeps talking about taxing the rich but when someone offers to give a nonprofit we all love a billion dollars it’s suddenly the worst thing on the planet.
If the deal were real of course
Honestly, they’d be stupid not to take it.
Imagine how much you could do with a billion. It’d perpetually sustain the organization, it’d allow them to hire translators and writers, resulting in better content for all of us.
Hell, I’d take it, and 99.9% of people on this planet would too.
Yeah so what I’m saying is if they got paid enough, same or more than what they’re getting with tips, we wouldn’t need to tip.
Maybe they are pushing for higher tips because they aren’t paid enough?
It being a status symbol becomes kind of irelevant if every other person has it
So much better
Well articulated, good job
Then you’d be wrong
It’s kinda been agreed that it’s the best connector right now, with a lot of future-proofing built in (you can already see it f.e. with Thunderbolt, the same cable, massively different capabilities over ther years OR, from the power distribution side, it going all the way up to 200(ish?) watts lately
It’s just a piece of the puzzle.
You could create a cooling “machine” without any sort of coolant for sure, look up Peltier plates for example
But we’re not talking about the nature of the system here, we’re talking about this specific instance.
And I don’t agree they’d necessarily do it internally, sometimes talent is the biggest blocker, not money. They can contract out a team of highly qualified engineers from NASA for a project here and there, when they need it. Hiring people is extremely expensive and having those people do nothing between projects is even more so.
The fact that it’s not profitable overall doesn’t mean there can never be any profit from anything.
How would you know? It hasn’t been sold yet.
Yeah but that was decades ago.
Without the boom, these planes can fly possibly more profitable routes, for example, drawing parallels is hard with such a time-distance
There’s a big difference between “heated” and “burnt” tobacco. Same as with weed vaporization vs smoking, vaporization is much healthier compared to inhaling burnt plant material.
