I failed to capture the actual error message, but saw something similar (and “os error 2” seems to match the memory) uploading an image for a post this morning.

Well, I’m glad it’s working now, even if knowing the cause might have been useful.

This doesn’t sound like the sort of size errors I run into, but there are definitely image size limits (not quite sure if its dimensions or sheer file size) in Lemmy - have you tested with some small images?

It would be possible to fall foul of annoying, harrassing, content-free, “Should have just hit ‘Like’”, and other such rules and conventions of the subreddit. A good starting test for your sister would be “Would I like it if every other member of it did what I was doing in my favourite subreddit?”
