Don’t have octoprint and not sure I’d be ready for it to abort my prints for me just yet. I use a security camera. Would be nice if it could just screengrab the feed from my desktop and send an email or sms alert if something looked off.

I don’t have / can’t afford one, but the prusa XL is one of the more beloved printers in existence. I don’t think many would agree it’s a disaster. Bambu is absolutely ripe for enshitification. It’s commercial fodder to the max, we all know where this story ends. They are the HP of the 3d printer world. My only hope is that they help push prusa to an increasingly open source model, but that’s probably wishful thinking.

I find PETG varies a lot. First thing I always do to troubleshoot is print same thing in pla to see if it’s a material issue or not. If so, try temp towers with that spool to see what temp gives you best overhang. I have a blue PETG that looks just like that, and in my experience those cool translucent PETG spools are more finicky then matte finish versions for some reason too.

Curious why it’s not 5 filters with some little toilet paper tubes or something for legs. Was it found that the fifth filter is diminishing returns?
