I can’t recommend pfSense enough.

Imagine taking the time to put this together.
Weird.
Telephone sanitizers.
I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for but I use Infuse on the ATV for the times the Plex client can’t play a file, usually because it’s DV format.
I’ve seen the author on political shows in the UK. She’s the worst kind of right wing hack and her opinions are worthless.

Citation needed.
Watch out, some dickhead might accuse you of sealioning.
I don’t need to reread what you wrote
Cool. We’re done here.
So which part do you know to be false,
Re-read what I wrote, I was quite clear although I edited my post a minute after submitting so maybe you missed it.
You can claim I’m sealioning all you want, anyone with a functioning brain can see I’m not.
Asking for a source just to ask for a source is called sealioning.
Good grief, no.
I read so much absolute bullshit around nuclear and renewables where people just write out their feelings on the subject. Asking for sources to back up their claims isn’t sealioning, it’s a polite way of asking someone to try and back up their claims with facts.
In this instance, OP said, “Has anyone who wants to “go green” without nuclear ever looked at the power output of these things?? It’s not even the same league! AaagggghHhHhhhhhhhh”
I want to know what they’re talking about. If they’re saying 1 solar panel or wind turbine has a smaller output than a nuclear plant then … well yeah, that’s obvious. If they’re saying renewables won’t work without nuclear then that’s a straight up lie and I’d like them to post sources to back up that assertion.
Thanks for this. I did ask OP for sources, in other words links to verifiable data to back up the assertion that:
“Has anyone who wants to “go green” without nuclear ever looked at the power output of these things?? It’s not even the same league! AaagggghHhHhhhhhhhh”
Please provide valid sources to back up your comment. Thanks.
The alternative is to be making bank on a far smaller outlay much more quickly with renewables.
👍
Its not cheaper if you only count the generation side you are ignoring Storage and Capacity factor those in and its not cheaper anymore.
Cost per kW:
Nuclear: $6,695–7,547
Solar PV with storage: $1,748
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cost_of_electricity_by_source
You ran for the hills when I called out your mistruths earlier. You’re still lying.
Here’s more:
"Roughly speaking, the total cost of these solar-plus-storage facilities would be:
$8.4 billion for 10.55 GWdc of solar power, fully installed at 80¢/watt
$527 million for hypothetical power grid upgrades at 5¢/Watt
$7.8 billion for 39.3 GWh of energy storage fully installed at $200/kWh
Around $16.8 billion grand total, no incentives
So, Georgia, pv magazine USA just saved you more than $13 billion (as of today anyway)."
Here comes the airplane say aaah
No need to act like a bitch just because I asked you to do the bare minimum and provide sources.
Your first link is about HVDC lines, which already exist and work well, what is your point?
your second link is about battery storage. You’re just posting links without giving any context to how they support whatever argument you’re trying to make here.
Battery storage is not nearly equitable enough at this point in time.
What does this mean?
“findings suggest that the cost per kilowatt (KW) for utility-scale solar is less than $1,000, while the comparable cost per KW for nuclear power is between $6,500 and $12,250. At present estimates, the Vogtle nuclear plant will cost about $10,300 per KW, near the top of Lazard’s range. This means nuclear power is nearly 10 times more expensive to build than utility-scale solar on a cost per KW basis.”

Tell me again about what’s equitable.
Small modular reactors are much more cost effective at the current price point than battery will be for the next 15 to 20 years.
They literally don’t exist as a means of grid generation. You’re just writing pro-nuclear fanfic and expecting us to treat it as if it has any basis in reality. Are you getting paid to peddle this horseshit?
You should be.
You’re still doing it. Your run on paragraphs aren’t worth much, if you want me to take you seriously, please provide links to valid sources to back up your argument.
It’s way cheaper to build storage than new nuclear.
